This was our big summer trip. Damian and I try to do this every year. In 2001 the trip was cut short when a deer decided to use my car to commit suicide. We got the car patched up enough to get home from Richfield, Utah, but we didn't feel like pushing our luck and driving even farther from home with a leaking radiator. We had much better luck this year. We took the tours at Lehman Caves and Oregon Caves (red dots near Ely and Medford), drove a lot, saw lots of trees, lots of desert, ate in lots of restaurants, stayed in lots of motels. As close as I ever get to having fun.
